Purchase Ledger Officer

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in a purchase ledger role is essential
Good knowledge of financial processes and systems
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage a high workload
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other accounting packages

In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of purchase ledger invoices, payments and associated reconciliations. This will involve verifying costs, coding invoices, preparing payments, reconciling supplier statements and dealing with supplier queries.
