Office Accountant

Siamo is looking for experienced Office Accountants.

One of our more prestigious Northampton based clients is looking for an AAT experienced Office Accountant, with a rich history in Northampton being woven into the fabric of the town since 1919, and making an unprecedented change in 1970 by converting the company to a cooperative and giving the ownership of the company to the staff, giving them a unique concept for the business, meaning every customer served in store is served by a owner of the company.

The company aim is to provide every customer with the best in value, design and service, believing that every purchase is met with a level of curtsey that is fastly disappearing in modern high street shopping. 

What to expect as a Office Accountant:

• £25000.00 - £30000.00 Per annum
• Monday - Friday. 
• 09:00 am - 17:00 pm
• Northampton NN1 Location. 
• Company Pension Scheme.
• Annual Profit share Scheme.
• Cycle to work scheme.

Key requirements of a Office Accountant:

• 3 year experience working in an office account position.
• AAT Qualifications ideal. 
• Book keeping qualifications advantageous.
• High level of working accuracy.
• Excellent organisations skills.
• High attention to details. 
• Good standard of communication skills.

Main Duties of a Office Accountant:

• Maintaining sales ledger's.
• Daily checks and balancing of shop tills.
• Handling petty cash.
• Dealing with post.

Other daily duties of an Office Accountant:

• Supporting team members where required.
• Answering telephone to customers.
• Dealing with customer queries.
