Accounts Administrator
Siamo Recruitment are working with a longstanding client located in Fairford, who are expanding their Accounts department and looking to welcome an Account Administrator to their small and friendly team.
The ideal Accounts Administrator will be AAT Qualified, with exposure to both Administration and Accounts control working on month and year end reports alongside reconciliation of accounts and general administrative duties to support the wider team.
Our client of whom has over 3 decades experience of trading, has mastered long term relationships with customers and suppliers and mirror this within their internal teams, investing into their staff and therefore, have secured a notable long staff retention within the business.
Working within a small team you will have a natural flare for building key relationships both Internal and External, supporting the accounts team and working in harmony towards one end goal.
The Package Supporting This Vacancy:
- £27,000 Base Salary
- Monday – Thursday 09:00am – 16:30pm, Friday 09:00am – 12:00pm
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holiday Entitlement
- Early finish on Fridays

This Accounts Administrator Role Will Have the Below Responsibilities:
- Management of sales and purchase ledger
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Entering supplier invoices/credits
- Processing refunds and Balancing accounts
- Setting up new customer and supplier accounts
- Providing accurate financial reports
- Liaising with colleagues, clients, suppliers and banking contacts to resolve issues
- Liaison with Accountants in areas such as payroll, VAT and PAYE
- Liaise with Accountants to send Month end and Year end reports
- Answering emails/telephone, sending quotes to customers
- Sending quote requests to suppliers and ordering materials
- Processing reports
The Ideal Candidate For this Accounts Administrator Vacancy Will Have:
- In-depth knowledge of SAGE 50 accounting software essential
- An AAT Level 3 Qualification
- Must have a driving license due to rural location
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
- Good organisational and time-management abilities
- The ability to build relationships with Both Internal and External Stakeholders
This role is easily commutable from towns such as; Swindon, Cirencester, Cricklade, Highworth and Lechlade.
