URGENT - Team Leader (Warehouse)

Siamo Recruitment is looking for Warehouse Operatives for our client at Tamworth/Dordon (B78). This is regular ongoing work Monday to Friday with the opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks.

Shift Pattern: 

Rotating Shift - Monday to Friday

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM & 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Rate of Pay:

£11.40/ hr

Key Accountabilities:
(include but are not limited to the following)

Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse team
Monitor staff performance and carry out team briefings
Manage the time & attendance of the staff within the protocols
Ensure picking, checking, and packing of products are fulfilled
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
Ensure the highest level of hygiene is maintained in accordance with GDP regulations
Assist with the collection of data and report warehouse KPI's
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other departments
Manage and co-ordinate stock take and cycle counting 
Resolve issues which occur in the warehouse and escalate as necessary
Train new Warehouse Operatives within area of responsibility
Ensure staff comply to health, safety and environmental regulations
Follow relevant procedures outlined in the current SOP's 
Report all Accidents/Incidents to the line manager

About You!
Have previous experience in a warehouse environment
Must appreciate the need for maintaining confidentiality
Must be able to build effective working relationships
Must be a team player as well as a decision maker
Must have good proven Supervisory and Team Leader skills
Good working knowledge of IT packages: WMS system, Word etc.
